2. Eligibility To be eligible for our services, you must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age to hold a learner permit in Queensland) and hold a valid Queensland learner permit or international equivalent.
3. Services We provide driving lessons in a dual-controlled vehicle, including practical driving skills, defensive driving, preparation for the driving test, and other related services. Lesson durations, pricing, and availability are as stated on our website or as communicated to you at the time of booking.
4. Bookings and Cancellations Bookings for driving lessons must be made in advance using our online booking platform, YLOODrive. A mutually convenient time will be arranged for your lesson at the time of booking. If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please do so through the YLOODrive platform at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled lesson. Please note that if you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee may apply, as this time has been set aside specifically for you, and it can be challenging for us to fill this slot with another student at short notice. This policy ensures that all students have equal access to available lesson times. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to this policy.
5. Payments All lessons must be paid for in advance or at the time of the lesson. Accepted payment methods are as stated on our website or as communicated to you at the time of booking.
6. Responsibility for Personal Belongings While in our vehicles, you are responsible for your personal belongings. First Step 2 Drive Driving School cannot be held liable for any items lost, damaged, or left in our vehicles.
7. Learner Responsibilities As a learner, you must follow the instructor’s directions at all times, obey all traffic laws, and behave in a respectful manner. Failure to do so may result in termination of the lesson without refund.
8. Liability First Step 2 Drive Driving School carries comprehensive insurance coverage. However, we are not responsible for any fines or infringements incurred by the learner during a lesson or driving test.
9. Privacy We respect your privacy and will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Queensland and Australian law.
10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution If you have any issues or complaints about our services, please contact us directly so we can resolve the matter.
11. Changes to Terms We may change these terms and conditions at any time. The current version of these terms and conditions will be available on our website.
12. Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
