In Queensland, you can start your driving lessons once you're 16 years old and have obtained your learner license from the TMR.
Queensland learner drivers are required to log 100 hours of supervised driving, including 10 hours of night driving, before they can take the practical driving test.
Yes! We offer lessons in both our dedicated driving school cars and, if preferred, in the student's own car, provided it's safe and meets TMR regulations. We generally always require at least one or two lessons in our own driving school cars first.
Typically, our driving lessons are 1 to 2 hours in duration.
In Queensland, your learner's permit is valid for 5 years. However, you can progress to the provisional license once you meet the required supervised driving hours and age criteria.
Yes, parents or guardians are welcome to sit in the back during lessons. This can be a great way for them to understand the progress their child is making and to pick up tips on helping with supervised driving outside of lessons
Our instructors are highly trained and accredited by TMR. We utilise dual-control vehicles, ensuring the instructor can take control of the car if necessary. Safety is our top priority, and we ensure our students are in a controlled and secure learning environment.
Absolutely. In Queensland, learner drivers are not allowed to use mobile phones at all while driving, not even hands-free or with a Bluetooth device. It's crucial to keep distractions to a minimum to ensure safety.
